Flower Power

Flowers are such a simple and satisfying way to  inject some color, scent and beauty into your space.

I purchased these lovely ranunculus a couple of weeks ago at my local farmers market (Western Wake) in Cary, N.C.  Talk about staying power.   They lasted almost two weeks!

Such  vibrant color! On my return trip to the market last week, I practically ran to the sweet woman selling such pretty flowers.

Once again, Western Wake Farmers market, nor the flower vendor, did not disappoint.  I found these lovely pink ranunculus for $3 a bunch.       They are still going strong, one week later.

Originally, I put them in my living room, but they were lost in a sea of blue, red and gray.   No matter how pretty they looked, they didn’t stand out.  In fact, they clashed so much, I felt compelled to do something about it.

So I put them in the powder room.

Flower power is real, people.  🙂

  1. Steph – I specifically went to the farmers market last Saturday to get these flowers after your last post with the yellow ones. They did make me happy all week! Hope to bump into you there sometime!
