I like that someone thought the general public could use a bucket of free shells.
I didn’t need a shell, but I took one because an unexpected gift from a stranger is rare and welcome. I’ve seen lots of “Free! Take One!” signs, but that’s usually because it no longer has value to the owner. Someone walked along the beach and collected all of these beautiful shells.
It’s a reminder that in our crazy world, there’s no limit on simple surprises from the heart of a stranger.
A reminder that we are all connected.
