Lessons from A Teenage Bedroom Makeover

Some deals are wiser that others.

I don’t know what I was thinking when I thought I should have artistic freedom in my teenage daughter’s bedroom.  I was so excited to create this wonderful, fun space for her that I did not leave much room for her input.  And that was kind of the whole point of the project.

Haleigh is not a fan of orange.  Oops.

So now that my bruised ego is healed, I’ll return some items to the store and give Haleigh a chance to figure out what she likes.  She likes her room, but it’s missing something:  her touch.

She has always had her own spin on things.  I’d like to keep it that way.
