The Blue Hues of an Endless Summer Hydrangea

Welcome, dear hydrangea.  I’ve been watching you grow.  Your colors are exquisite.  Your petals, paper-thin.

  1. I’m managing to kill off one of my lovely hydrangeas right now. Sigh. The other is doing quite well, but the blue one now has mildew on its leaves and rust on its petals, although I can see new growth on it. There’s a long list of things I’d have to do to keep the blue one alive, and to be honest, I’m not up for it. Beautiful images of your blue hydrangea, though; it looks very healthy!

    1. I’ve had some trouble with my hydrangeas in the past. What seems to help is just taking them out and moving them to another location. I think they don’t like that late afternoon heat of the South, where I live. They prefer the morning to early afternoon sun. I hope that helps. I’m glad you like the pictures.
