Hail to My Alma Mater

I miss seeing houses tucked into hills.
I miss seeing houses tucked into hills.

I’m in Conshohocken Pennsylvania today. My 30th high school reunion from Philadelphia High School for Girls is tonight. I haven’t seen my old classmates since I was 17 years old, but throughout the years, I’ve seen several on Facebook. If it weren’t for FB, I don’t know that I would have made this trip. It may sound kind of typical, but having reconnected through FB is really something of a gift.

They’ve asked me to make some remarks at the end of the reunion. Dang, that means I can’t have too much to drink. I think I’ll delay writing anything until I spend some time with them. I cannot wait to see, hug and laugh with my sisters of the class of 227. Now, we are seasoned, strong and vibrant women. Many stories to share.
